Salam Eid Fitri Al-Mubarak

Assalamua’laikum WBT.

Praise be to Allah, The Creator and The Sustainer of the Worlds. Peace and Blessings be upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, his family and companions.

I feel grateful to Allah for giving me this opportunity experience a lot of wonderful moments with other USIM students throughout the most blessed month, Ramadhan al-Mubarak. As we all know, we have now reached the last 10 days of Ramadhan al-Mubarak. Within this time, our Creator, Allah SWT has promised us that whomsoever (His slave) performs their ibadah well; His Blessings and forgiveness will be upon him and will be kept away from the Hellfire (An-nar Jahannam). As a muslim, it is a loss and waste if we don’t grab this precious moment to get the Blessings from Him. Personally, I really hope that we will catch our train and will not miss the boat of Barakah even once. Let us strive together for our sake and our brothers and sisters in this world and in the hereafter.

In conjunction with the month of Ramadhan al-Mubarak and Eid Mubarak1430H, all the 24 members of Students’ Representative Council (SRC) 08/09 wish you a very happy and Blessed Eid Fitri. We hope, this Eid Fitri will bring us true happiness and blissfulness. Before going back to your home town, make sure that all your belongings including your private vehicles well taken care of. Also, make sure that the hostel or rented houses are in the very best condition before leaving Nilai.

In addition, we also hope that all USIM students will arrive at their ‘kampung’ safely. And for all international students, although this Eid will be different with celebrating it in your hometown, we hope, it will be an exciting and enjoyable experience. For those that will travel back, it is a must to take some precautions like servicing your cars/motorcycles before your journey. As a reminder, our life is one of the most priceless gifts, from Allah and it will not return back to us once it’s gone. Therefore, please take good care of yourself and beware of the threats like the H1N1 virus. Let us pray and ask from Him that we will be back at USIM campus in a good condition and continue our journey in seeking true knowledge.
